Here are three key things to do, that will keep your Locs fresh in between services. HYDRATION AND SHINE A light mist of rose water, or essential oil like tea tree oil or peppermint oil on your Locs, or scalp can keep Loc lubricated and give them a nice shine. This will give your Locs a pleasant scent, soothe itchiness, and prevent them from looking dry and dull in between services. SMOOTH HAIRLINE METHOD Sometimes in between services Locs located on the front hair line and nape area may look frizzy and may cause insecurity when in public. You can take a silk scarf and wrap it around your hair line overnight to produce a smooth mold around your hair line and nape area. NIGHT CARE Cotton linen can pull moisture out of hair and cause dryness. It is important to protect Locs wrapping them in a silk scarf, bonnet, or silk hair wrap. 3 THINGS TO AVOID WITH LOCS • Shampooing with hard shampoos or conditioners ( follow up with your Loctician ) • Retwisting ( leave the Retwisting to your Loctician to avoid improper retwist ) • Conditioning treatments ( follow up with your Loctician on conditioning and steaming your Locs for Hydration ) After Service Loc Home Care
